What began as a simple idea, to changing the way bearings were sold by moving the business online, has grown into an award-winning international company. Founded in 2012, QBOL was built on a digital-first approach, rethinking both sales and customer service in an industry rooted in tradition.

The early days were challenging, as many customers were hesitant to move away from conventional ordering methods. In 2016, we shifted focus from the UK to international markets, relaunching our website to strengthen our global presence.

This new direction led to rapid success. Between 2016 and 2019, we received seven major awards for export growth, including the Northern Powerhouse Export Award for Export Team of the Year. In 2022, we were honoured with one of the UK’s most prestigious accolades: the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
